Decisions on Good and Evil….

A fly on the wind

Decisions on Good and Evil, what makes a Luciferian or a Satanist this or that. All points that bring the fools running and the opinions flow like milk from the teat. Now, I’m a Taoist before any other label you would care to hang on my tattered Hat, so my point of view comes from such bias. First eliminate all thoughts of gods and devils.
As a Luciferian the goal is to beyond good and evil. Philosophically, whatever is, is exactly the way it is supposed to be as a result of cause and effect, birth, decay and death, cycles and reversion.
Evil is a construct of man. We place our moral judgement on events and say that such and such is either good, evil, or it doesn’t matter.
Pain is a physical thing. All living beings experience pain of one form or another. Just part of life.
Suffering is psychological. Even though we might be in pain we need not necessarily be suffering because of it.
Evil exists only because man has stated that certain things are evil. If one of these things that has been classified as evil has been enacted the evil has been done.
From my point of view, creation is the same as destruction, birth is the same as death, just changes of name and form.Evil, being just a name or a descriptive then it can only be temporary in nature. For example the evils of times gone past are the accepted norm of today … mini-skirts for example,Is it evil if I ended the life of a living being and ruthlessly chopped it’s limbs from its living body?
That might cause you to react by saying “YES!!”
But what if I am just pulling up weeds from my garden, cutting them up and tossing them on my compost heap?
So “evil” is just a concept of the mind relative to social standards and my world view.laughs at the whole concept of good vs evil. In other words, a satanic or Luciferian perspective is that what’s considered good and what’s considered evil is relative and personal.Dressing it up in a hat and red claws and saying “Look at the evil over there in the night” is a really old trick, but it’s not a trick the LHP will profit from adopting.

A Luciferian amongst the Pagans: Hexfest 2015

herologoI write about a number subjects on this blog, It’s not all Demons and virgin sacrifice (such a hard ritual to pull off in the days of Tinder and 4chan),I have readers from the Pagan community, even a wiccan or two who stop be and say hello. So gentle reader, it was no surprise when I was approached by a local witch to  Moderate a Panel at Hexfest, a modest sized convention for Witches, rootworkers, Voodoo priests and other magical teachers, to meet and greet the fans, sell books, and teach classes.I was only there for the last day, so my experience was quite limited with what goes on a such affairs, I was hoping to see a few SACERDOTES extra Romam, or even the Vestal Virgins (Vestales) and Flaminicae, (wives of the flamens ) to tell me what I bad boy I’ve been. But alas, no luck.I did meet a few interesting folks and Occult Personalities, a few of witch ( sorry, Just couldn’t help myself) truly seemed to know their subject matter quite well.Christopher Penczak, whom I remember from the Temple of Witchcraft series of books he penned in 2002-04 ,was quite down to earth and personable. His comments and answers for the Panel (called, Ritual Possession: Inviting the Gods and Spirits Within) came from a place of his own experience, and as he told us himself “I have the least amount of experience with this subject, but I think Cristian Day just threw me in here because he had no idea what to do with me.” And I for one am quite glad he did so.

Now, I know what you must be thinking ” Vincent, what are you doing?!?! Luciferian, Goetia Heretic, LHP Taoist Renegade, why are you hanging out with a bunch of Pagans? Even, Gasp! a few RHP, Drawing Down the Moon types who would run at the thought of the Qlippoth.” Well,  the terms ‘Pagan’ and ‘Luciferian’ are not as far apart as it may seem at face value. While Lucifer is a patron of mine, he isn’t the only deity i’ve worked with, and to be honest I’ve done far more work with Lilith and Belzebuth. When going to an event like this, its much easier to say that I’m pagan, because let’s face it,If A Satanist Or Luciferian Defines Themselves As Pagan, Then They’re Pagan. Luciferianism is a living philosophy that values and honors the dynamic principles essential to the characteristics of Lucifer. The name Lucifer can be translated as “Light Bearer”, lux=light and fero= to bear. Lucifer also denotes Venus, as the morning and evening star. Under this definition, I’m a pagan who bears light and works with Venus, the goddess of love (oh won’t my mom be proud)Pagan is a very very broad term. And, believe it or not, you can be a Christian pagan as well. Surprise! You don’t get to define the term pagan. If you don’t like it,Tough titty said the kitty.  I embrace my fellow aware pagans, the Crazy Anti-Cosmic Void Magi, my fellow pagans that follow Satan or Lucifer(or in the case of the TST, don’t ),even the Pastafarians ( “R’amen) and all who reject dogma and formalism . I reject the pagans that say Satanism or Luciferianism can’t be pagan.  The stigma attached to that term is far more negative and far-reaching than ‘pagan’, because even non-christians think of the biblical devil when the name Lucifer is mentioned. In pagan communities, however, at times we find ourselves almost equally as ostracized. In their attempts to make paganism more acceptable to the public or innocent, many make statements such as ‘pagans don’t believe in or worship the devil/satan/lucifer’, trying to separate the public’s concepts of satanism and paganism. But as an unnamed Author said to to me at Hexfest “I’m a Closet Luciferian.”I believe this is more often the case, then not.

Moving on to the Fest and Panel, Lilith Dorsey,a Voodoo Priestess and editor/publisher of Oshun-African Magickal Quarterly, was quite enjoyable as well. We immediately connected with our Anthropology backgrounds, and she helped me out in a pinch during the panel when one of my Questions wasn’t translating well to a more Pagan format. The stories of her eating Dirt during possession wowed the crowd, and her knowledge was quite extensive when it came to the practical aspects of Ritual Possession.

Bloody Mary and Sandra Mariah Wright gave the Witch/mambo asogwe and High Priestess’s take on the subject of Ritual Possession, and from my seat did a fine job of it.To be given an interpretation of how the Alexandrian Tradition of Witchcraft sees Becoming the Goddess was a real treat for the audience, and Bloody Mary’s down to earth swamp magic stories were quite refreshing.

Steven Bragg, a Santa Muertero, and a devotee and spiritual worker of the Mexican folk saint La Santisima Muerte, gave a fascinating account of being ridden by the Loa and the preparation of objects used in his practice of Haitian Vodou and Palo Mayombe. He formed the New Orleans Chapel of the Santisima Muerte, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting information about la Santisima Muerte, this is quite interesting to me from a writer’s standpoint and I plan to visit the public shrine for this saint quite soon (and yes, a write up on it is forthcoming, I promise)

All of the Panelists did an excellent job, the subject matter was well covered, and they made my job very easy ( I didn’t have to take out the whip, or drop the Hat once) and for this I am extremely grateful.I attended Raven and Stephanie Grimassi’s talk on Greenwood Magic and learned a few things about herbs and the spirit of the mandrake plant that I did not know previously.I had a blast gently heckling Raven about his “Chaos Magick” methods of using the mortar & pestle for magic, but he was a good sport about it.I also spent some time talking with Judika Illes,The author of such books as The Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells (2004); The Element Encyclopedia of Witchcraft (2005) and one of my favorites, The Encyclopedia of Spirits (2009).One of her newest works and The Encyclopedia of Mystics, Saints, and Sages, is going on my must read list, just from the stories she told me of her inspiration to Interview Cabbies about what Saint they use to protect them on the daily drive.

This Luciferian had a great time doing it, and hope to be asked back again in the future. Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome and comfortable at the Fest,Ty Siddiqui did a Bang-up job making sure that everything ran smoothly, and Hex-Fest could have never gone on in such a successful way without her.Stay Gold everyone, and don’t forget your Hat….

The magical amulets & talismans that they make are hand-engraved using traditional methods. Specific magical amulets are engraved during the correct magical hours or on specific days. Made out of the correct materials for the spirit in question,I’ve found their work to be impeccable and beyond reproach. This could be brass, gold, silver, or copper. Pricing is based on both the cost of materials but primarily by the level of effort involved in the intricacy of the design.Worth every penny, I can’t recommend their craftsmanship highly enough!A bit about the Lucifer Talisman, the Sigil of Lucifer was first documented in the 16th century (1517) Grimoirium Verum also known as the Grimoire of Truth. The document was authored as a practical guide to invoking and working with Lucifer, Beelzebuth and Astaroth, and their lesser daemons, This sigil has become synonymous with Lucifer for close to half a century but was actually the third sigil of Lucifer noted in the first book of the Grimoirium Verum. The Talisman made by Azraels Apothecary includes all three sigils from the Grimoirium Verum ascribed to Lucifer.  The third sigil was the only one that was created on a 9 by 9 (order 9) magic square, which no doubt explains its use and popularity over the first two sigils. The order 9 magic square that the Sigil of Lucifer is believed to be created upon represented the number 369. The number 369 would be the sum of all the numbers added together whether the numbers in the magic square were added horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Furthermore, consider the square (grid) of 9 columns, 9 rows deep and the sum of any of them added totaling 369, which when added 3 + 6+ 9 = 18, which further reduced would be 1 + 8 = 9, we can only suspect that there may be some significance. The purpose of the Sigil of Lucifer is that of an instrument of visual invocation during ritual. By performing the appropriate ritual, the sigil acts as a gateway to invoke and bestow the power and presence of Lucifer. To Find out more about how you can Buy a Custom Talisman or Hand-made Amulet made by Azrael’s Apothecary, visit them at http://azraelsapothecary.com/

Satanic Taoism

It is quite amazing to me how similar Modern Satanism is becoming to Taoism. The Principal of Active Non-Interference (Wei Wu Rao)is a main tenant in Satanism and Luciferianism,it echoes the ideas of the Taoist sages almost exactly.People, Nations, Political Factions, and religions love to tell others how to Live, but Daoists prefer to leave people alone, just as they wish to be left alone. Most of those on the Left Hand Path feel the same, your Path may not be my Path,so why should I interfere?

This perspective aligns with nature. For example, I have often Observed birds sitting on power lines on the road, but I’ve never seen one bird tell another bird it’s feathers aren’t right, or that it should only eat red seeds, not blue ones.Only Humans spend time telling each other how to behave.

To Dr. Faustus in his study Mephistopheles told the history of the Creation, saying: “The endless praises of the choirs of angels had begun to grow wearisome; for, after all, did he not deserve their praise? Had he not given them endless joy? Would it not be more amusing to obtain undeserved praise, to be worshipped by beings whom he tortured? He smiled inwardly, and resolved that the great drama should be performed. “For countless ages the hot nebula whirled aimlessly through space. At length it began to take shape, the central mass threw off planets, the planets cooled, boiling seas and burning mountains heaved and tossed, from black masses of cloud hot sheets of rain
deluged the barely solid crust. And now the first germ of life grew in the depths of the ocean, and developed rapidly in the fructifying warmth into vast forest trees, huge ferns springing from the damp mould, sea monsters breeding, fighting, devouring, and passing away. And from the monsters, as the play unfolded itself, Man was born, with
the power of thought, the knowledge of good and evil, and the cruel thirst for worship And Man saw that all is passing in this mad, monstrous world, that all is struggling to snatch, at any cost, a few brief moments of life before Death’s inexorable decree. And Man said: `There is a hidden purpose, could we but fathom it, and the purpose is
good; for we must reverence something, and in the visible world there is nothing worthy of reverence.’ And Man stood aside from the struggle, resolving that God intended harmony to come out of chaos by human efforts. And when he followed the instincts which God had transmitted to him from his ancestry of beasts of prey, he
called it Sin, and asked God to forgive him. But he doubted whether he could be justly forgiven, until he invented a divine Plan by which God’s wrath was to have been appeased. And seeing the present was bad, he made it yet worse, that thereby the future might be better. And he gave God thanks for the strength that enabled him to forgo even the joys that were possible. And God smiled; and when he saw that Man had become perfect in renunciation and worship, he sent another sun through the sky, which crashed into Man’s sun; and all returned again to nebula.’

Once we are the perfect servant and listen to what the World sees as God has to say for us to do, or not to do(in the form of his representatives on earth)the ball stops rolling, and the play starts over. One of the main forms of Interference is the act of giving unsolicited advice to others. To often those on the Right feel they are the only ones who are right so feel the need to correct and advise others according to their viewpoint.

The Taoists had this to say: “The one who Knows does not know all. The one who Know all does not know at all.”But the world of fact, after all, is not good nor evil; and, in submitting our judgment to it, there is an element of slavishness from which our thoughts must be purged. For in all things it is well to exalt the dignity of Man, by freeing him as far as possible from the tyranny of non-human Power,or the power that some feel they have from religious authority .Shall we worship Force, or shall we worship Goodness? Shall our God exist and be evil, or shall he be recognised as the creation of our own conscience? As the Zhuang Zi states : “If People abide by their own heart and treat it as their teacher, who then would be without a teacher?”

Nonconformity in the View of Daoism, as well as the Left Hand Path,is not about doing whatever you please or disregarding responsibilities. To do that will only create problems. The Ideal of nonconformity is to commit yourself to leading the life you wish for yourself,no matter how many around you tell “It’s the wrong thing to do”.

Whether you want to be Married or Single,Satanist or Pastafarian, become a Monk or a Nun,Scientist,Cook, Defend the Law, Or destroy the Law- No matter what Path you wish to follow in life, it takes sincerity and unwavering commitment to produce a good result. As an Adapt of the Left, I respect the choice even if I don’t agree with the decision.Satanic Taoisim

Playing the tune that only you can hear…

Chaos Theory, along with scientific applications, shows that chaos is the random occurrence of variables with-
in the world we know which can create drastic changes. “Chaos” and “anarchy” are not one; though the true
Spiritual Anarchist will prefer them to be on some level. Random variables, of course, can be asserted to be
“free will” – man’s ability to move with this randomness as though he were at one with it. A “free spirit” may
not be complete random but is, in essence, random at critical moments which makes his actions that much
harder to gauge unless the entire spectrum of the time he’s moving in can be viewed.
an·ar·chy ( n r-k )
n. pl. an·ar·chies
• Absence of any form of political authority.playing to the crowd
• Political disorder and confusion.
• Absence of any cohesive principle, such as a common standard or purpose.

If we take a close look at the definition of anarchy, of course, we can see a very big discrepancy in the defini-
tions. The major problem I have is the lower two definitions, which are cultural memes based on a series of
cultural assumptions. The first is that if one lacks a central figure of philosophy, or government, then everything
is going to go straight to shit and fall apart. This is a pretty idiotic statement, considering that we’ve actually
had a series of tribal cultures throughout history without a central form of governance which did just fine
until the white-man came along and decided to fuck things up with his way of viewing reality.Let me ask you a question, then. You sit every day on a chair, when you go to sit down. If I remove the chair,
where do you think you’ll sit if you need to? On the ground. Let’s take this same concept and apply it to gov-
ernment: if we take away a government, what will man do? Man, for the most part, will govern himself. Much
the same way we actually do every day; of course, there are always going to be a few who threaten to break
down these basic principles. But do you really think wide-spread raping and pillaging will occur if living just
down the street is a group of Muslims willing to shoot you if you so much as touch their daughter? Probably
not.
What, then, does that leave us with? How do we work with this concept at all, and is it relevant to us? I
believe it is; I have no doubt that others will disagree on principle. First, the idea of “revolution” needs to be
tossed out and it is in all honesty a key to the concept of anarchy. Revolution, when viewed at historical level,
always leads to even more oppressive systems of government. We obviously don’t need that at the moment,
despite any issues some of us (myself, for example) may have with the way the government currently operate.Insurrection, on the other hand, does not need a revolution to occur; it simply needs willing participants who
following the brief period return to an almost normal viewpoint of life. Insurrection normally occurs when
those involved are simply tired of the way things are being done and decide to shake their fists at the govern-
ment as a whole. However, you may have noticed thus far that I’ve focused on the government – and what
Magician really cares all that much for politics? What we need to realize is that Government and Organized
Religion are two sides of the same threshold: control. Control with a big “c,” if you can dig it.
Heresy is a means of social resistance; you and I are all ready, in the eyes of the organized religions out there,
anarchists eating away at their philosophies. The root for heresy is the Latin Haeresis, which means “to
choose.” Our great plot against all of them is to choose for ourselves.Take a moment to consider that. We’ve
chosen for ourselves…
We’ve circumvented their control over us and decided that we have the means and technologies, spiritually, to
do what they claim to do.We are their biggest and most potent enemy because we simply don’t need them;
the same can be applied to the State, which can make us just as dangerous…and how do we go about this without getting arrested?

ART SABOTAGE STRIVES TO be perfectly exemplary but at the same time retain an element of opacity–not propaganda but aesthetic shock–appallingly direct yet also subtly angled– action-as-metaphor.
Art Sabotage is the dark side of Poetic Terrorism–creation- through-destruction–but it cannot serve any Party, nor any nihilism, nor even art itself. Just as the banishment of illusion enhances awareness, so the demolition of aesthetic blight sweetens the air of the world of discourse, of the Other. Art Sabotage serves only consciousness, attentiveness, awakeness.

A-S goes beyond paranoia, beyond deconstruction–the ultimate criticism–physical attack on offensive art– aesthetic jihad. The slightest taint of petty ego-icity or even of personal taste spoils its purity & vitiates its force. A-S can never seek power–only release it.

Individual artworks (even the worst) are largely irrelevant- -A-S seeks to damage institutions which use art to diminish consciousness & profit by delusion. This or that poet or painter cannot be condemned for lack of vision–but malign Ideas can be assaulted through the artifacts they generate. MUZAK is designed to hypnotize & control–its machinery can be smashed.

Public book burnings–why should rednecks & Customs officials monopolize this weapon? Novels about children possessed by demons; the New York Times bestseller list; feminist tracts against pornography; schoolbooks (especially Social Studies, Civics, Health); piles of New York Post , Village Voice & other supermarket papers; choice gleanings of Xtian publishers; a few Harlequin Romances–a festive atmosphere, wine-bottles & joints passed around on a clear autumn afternoon.

To throw money away at the Stock Exchange was pretty decent Poetic Terrorism–but to destroy the money would have been good Art Sabotage. To seize TV transmission & broadcast a few pirated minutes of incendiary Chaote art would constitute a feat of PT–but simply to blow up the transmission tower would be perfectly adequate Art Sabotage. If certain galleries & museums deserve an occasional brick through their windows–not destruction, but a jolt to complacency–then what about BANKS? Galleries turn beauty into a commodity but banks transmute Imagination into feces and debt. Wouldn’t the world gain a degree of beauty with each bank that could be made to tremble…or fall? But how? Art Sabotage should probably stay away from politics (it’s so boring)–but not from banks.

Don’t picket–vandalize. Don’t protest–deface. When ugliness, poor design & stupid waste are forced upon you, turn Luddite, throw your shoe in the works, retaliate. Smash the symbols of the Empire in the name of nothing but the heart’s longing for grace.
